Pomegranate - Royal Fruit

Pomegranate is literally 'crowned' by nature with its beautiful leafing around the haft, but its real crown is constituted by the beneficial nature it has. Pomegranate has been celebrated throughout history: Egyptian papyri, Old Testament, Old Greek Mythology, Roman History and Koran all have something to say about this wonderful fruit. Its very name derives from Latin pomum (apple) and granatus (seeded).

Force of plants

It may not be widely known, but plants similar to animals and humans have developed means of protecting themselves against all exposures. Since plants aren't mobile, their defences are conducted by the aid of chemicals that they naturally contain. These substances have proven themselves very useful to humans; though no doubt about that their use is yet to be discovered.

Why are antioxidantes so important

Due to the exposure to radiation, chemicals, pollution, smoke, drugs, alcohol, pesticides and even the sun along with the various metabolic processes such as poor diet, human is forced to use stored fat to make up for energy it lacks; leaving the body under constant threat of breakdown and forcing the cells of our organism to start emission of atoms harmful for the cells themselves.
